oops!!!
we are really trying to get rid of the passy....gosh, its hard!!i haven't gotten out of the house in a few days now. feeling a bit crazy i search the house for something to do. ahhh....movies that need to be returned! i loaded up the kids and got out of the house. wow..it was great to get out, the kids enjoyed it too. we jammed to disney princess music..shhh don't tell Landon, he hates when i make Clayton listen to girl stuff like that. hahaha but he sure does love the little mermaid. shalalalalala.
verses 25-32
again i read the NIV and the message both today. in these scriptures i think the psalmist is just feeling totally down on his luck, like it really couldn't get any worse. he is begging with God to show him his laws and commands so that he can follow them. in following his statutes he has faith that it will pull him out of his deep sorrow.
some times i think that when things go wrong in our lives we try to fix it every way we can and then when none of it works we say, "ok God, please can you help me out now. " when we should turn to him first instead of as our last resort. let us remember we can do nothing on our own.
God, help us to look to you when we are down. you are always there to lift us up.
